From small beginnings, to a nation-wide network of irrigation experts.
Irrigear originally began with a membership of six Queensland stores and was later joined by a small group of Victorian stores who were successfully operating as a buying group. Membership grew to 12, with the group beginning to negotiate with manufacturers and distributors on purchases – thus achieving economies of scale.
The Irrigear group soon built a reputation based on honesty and loyalty to their suppliers, as well as providing excellent customer service and support.
Irrigear Stores Ltd became an unlisted public company in May 2007 after sustained growth since its foundation in South East Queensland over 21 years ago.
Irrigear has since grown to over 60 stores Australia wide. Many of the store owners have worked in the irrigation industry for decades, creating a depth of knowledge and experience within the Irrigear group which is unmatched in Australia.
